The short version
Full Screen Capture Plus makes no network requests. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. Your screenshots are created in your browser, stored in your browser, and never transmitted anywhere.
What is collected
Nothing is collected by us. We receive no data of any kind, because the extension never contacts a remote server.
What is stored, and where
Captures are written to your browser's local extension storage on your own machine. Each stored capture consists of the screenshot image, a small thumbnail, and the page title, page URL, and date so the capture library can label it. The 20 most recent captures are kept; older ones are deleted automatically along with their image data.
You can delete any capture, or all of them, from the capture library at any time. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it has stored.
Page content
A screenshot is, by nature, a picture of whatever was on screen. If you capture a page containing personal or confidential information, that information is in the resulting image. The image stays on your machine unless you export or share it yourself. Use the built-in pixelate and censor tools to obscure anything sensitive before sharing.
Permissions, and why each is needed
activeTabGrants temporary access to the tab you are currently on, and only after you click the extension. This is what allows a screenshot of that tab to be taken.scriptingInjects the selection overlay and element picker into the page, and reads scroll position and page height while a full-page capture is running.offscreenCreates a hidden document used to stitch the captured viewport frames into one image. Canvas work of this kind cannot run in a service worker.storageSaves your captures and their thumbnails locally so the capture library and editor can reopen them.unlimitedStorageFull-page screenshots are large. This lifts the default storage quota so a long page does not fail to save.
The extension requests no host permissions, so it has no standing access to any site. It can only act on a tab after you explicitly invoke it there.
Children
The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revision date above will be updated. Any change that introduced data collection would be announced on the changelog page before it shipped.
